nimblebug

neededfun
livelybug better: livelydays
dashingdays - I like this because of multiple connotations and the alliteration

What about Comfy Company?
Like, you're keeping them company..?
For some reason, I don't like the idea of having "hospital" in the title. It kind of just reminds people where they are (not that they would forget). If someone said "Hospital Helpers are coming today!", they might think "Oh yeah, those kids that go around in hospitals because we're sad and lonely."
But if it was something more upbeat and cute, it would be more like a random visitation. You know what I mean..?

dammit....I tested out the name and some people said it sounds like a bed store, which I get from Mowicz's comment. Back to thinking I guess.

Yay, you chose my name. I was thinking it might sound like a couch or bed place too though. My next suggestion was going to be "Couch Company" - probably not any better.
What about Comfy Companions?

The issue with this is that people who are new to the hospital environment aren't going to have any idea what this is, since the name doesn't connote anything related to patient care.
As a for instance, when I worked as a Child Life Assistant at Sick Kids, people thought I was in charge of their child's medical care. I was nineteen at the time, and looked approximately that old, so I really wondered some times when parents would get mad at me that I had no idea about the treatment their child was receiving.
So..specificity is a good thing, in this case, I think.

mmmm...makes sense. Though from what I understand, your title/group name was confusing. It would be very hard to encompass the whole purpose of the club in one/two words the way you suggest and not be confusing. That's why I think a name that doesn't try to explain everything, just is catchy and a bit relevant to what we hope to accomplish is better
Ex:
Person 1:I am a jollybug volunteer(or simply a jollybug).
Person 2: What's jollybug
P1: We go to hospitals and try to make patients happy
Also, keep in mind, this is a website visible to the whole world(not just McMaster, though that's the target audience). People aren't gonna know/care what "The McMaster Club for Hospital Volunteering and Cheering Up" is, but happybug may just be catchy enough to get people interested.

Besides having a bug in the logo...is there a reason why you want some sort of insect play on words in there? (Am I missing something obvious here?)
How about Bedside Buddies?
