When is that? If it's still during welcome week then no. The only times you aren't allowed guests is welcome week and exams (I think that's all, I can't think of others).

October 1st is Homecoming, I think.

If you mean welcome week, just have friends come in early before they start checking IDs at the door, or after 3am (ish) when the stop checking IDs at the door. That's what people did in my first year.
