honours b.a. and b.a.?
is it possible to graduate with an honours degree in something, like french for example, then have a b.a. (non honours) degree too?

so on the degree it would say honors bachelor of arts blahblahblah and bachelors soandso?

I will see my acadmeic advisor about this soon but can someone speak from personal experience or knowledge thank you

Yes...not in the same subject, but otherwise yes, why wouldn't it be allowed?
It's really just a matter of how many credits you can use towards both degrees simultaneously.

I don't think you can do both at the same time unless it's a double major but I could be incorrect in that.

I know you can come back for a year after doing an honours degree and get a non-honours degree and some of the credits (two years worth) from your first degree count towards your second - I know people who have gotten hons BSc and then come back to get a non-hons BA in this way. If you overloaded and/or took summer courses though, you wouldn't necessarily need to come back for the extra year.

I'm just not sure how many courses would transfer if your first degree is in a similar field as your second...or maybe it doesn't even matter at all.

Do you get two separate degrees if you do a double major?
