Honours Life Sci - Help!
Hi!
For my second year programs, i've applied to honours life science, but i didn't get in. However, I met all the requirements. I got into honours chemistry. I thought pretty much everyone could get into honours life science. I'm worried! I'm not sure if I could email the life sciences department. I've been told to do so by my friends. What would you guys recommend?

AND ALSO:
one of the grade requirements for honours life sci is:
12 units from bio 1a03, 1m03, kin 1y03, 1yy3, psych 1x03 or 1xx3 with a cumulative avg of at least 6
Am i allowed to count the 2 bios, 1 kin, and psych 1xx3 towards my acceptance? thats what i was counting! and my avg is above 6 for that!

Does this normally happen to students? Or is it just me? :(

Your OVERALL average needs to be above 6, it's not just the "required" courses.

But, I did think that it had to be above 6 for Hons Chem also (though I haven't actually checked). If that's the case, then yes you should email them.

stellena says thanks to starfish for this post.
