Define bad.

It rains pretty often, but the winter is really mild.

Hamilton's not that far off from Toronto. I doubt it'll get any better. On the bright side, it can't get any worse

True. Bad as in thunderstorms, wind, lightning, heavy rain/hail-like. Regular rain on the other hand, is definitely not as bad.

I'm thinking the next step up on the weather intensiveness includes Typhoons and Hurricanes. When that happens, I'll be glad to eat my words. Haha.

Anyone know if we'll get access to WiFi?
Probably, I went during Welcome Day and there was WiFi at most major places. You just need your MacID and password and install the Cisco Clean Access Agent thing if your using a Windows machine.

But I'd refrain from bringing a laptop. I e-mailed Chanique and she told me not to...very little time to use it and security reasons. I'm just sticking to my iPod Touch for light web surfing and maybe taking down a few notes.

Hey everyone,

I've just read the last 10-15 posts and they no longer have anything to do with Horizons. Please make sure they do or the thread will be closed.

By the way, what kind of bag are you guys bringing. I don't wanna bring a huge bag, and end up not using 3/4 of the stuff in it =$, especially since we have to wear the conference shirt at all times.

You'll be fine with a small duffel bag or a big backpack. The list of stuff to bring is pretty small...and you're only there for two nights!

A small to mid-sized duffel bag will definitely suffice. Aside from toiletries, a few items of clothing, and maybe an extra blanket or pillow, you won't really need anything else. You are literally going to be in your room for an average of 9 hours per day (including sleeping and rest periods). The other 15 hours, we'll be doing all the fun stuff.

You'll be tired as heck, but it will be so worth it.

Well... I wanna bring my Nokia N800 Tablet... Google it if you don't know what it is. I'm pretty sure I can install Cisco on this thing. It doesn't run on windows though... So prob not necessary.

I just starting shoving things into my tna bag... i hope that gives you a good idea of how big the bag is.

Oh wow, you havve a N800? My dad has the N810. It's an awesome gadget. Have you tried modding it and stuff? Anyways... back to Horizons.

I'm just using a normal backpack... North Face. Basically, the same size as the one i used for high school. Not planning on bringing much. Mainly a few sets of clothes, pillow and a few gadgets.
