You should ideally be open to volunteering at other hospitals though. There's usually a wait at McMaster because everyone wants to volunteer somewhere close.

I believe the department of surgery is currently looking for volunteers.

St. Peter's Hospital in Hamilton can also accommodate new volunteers if you are interested in working with senior patients!!

There are also a number of mental health clinics and old age homes around Hamilton that are always eagerly looking for new volunteers.
