If professors post lectures online, can anyone access them?

If professors post their lecture online is it available to all students or only the students in the class of the professor? To be specific, will I be able to have access to Lock's lecture notes even though I don't have her class?

Presuming you're talking about chem 1A03/1AA3, the lectures are usually powerpoint slides and every section uses the same slides, so all student in chem can access them. The difference is how the professor explains and teaches the material =)

Well the slides are pretty basic, so professors like to add details to slide during lectures. There are also short questions during class time so different professor will do the same question in different ways too (showing or skipping steps, different approach or methods etc). These things will not be uploaded online.

And regarding the 2 professors I can't comment on them, I've only been taught by Hatala and Goward. But I've heard good things about Lock though.
