If you drive to McMaster, read this tip
After turning left from exit 69 onto main (after a green or on a fresh green) towards the university, you can skip every traffic light by going 68 km/h.

If you go 60, you'll hit a red at the hospital, if you go 65 you'll hit a red at the university. if you go 68, you can clear the university light and go onto the cootes entrance to university.

Enjoy

I doubt there is a hard rule stating not to ticket someone or pull them over unless they are 10 km/h.

there is. it exists because there is a law which also dictates that drivers are to keep pace with the flow of traffic (this being +/-10kmh of the speed limit)

I assume this only works when there's no traffic slowing you down.

But the fine would be so small they may not waste their time...
Anyway, I'm a terrible driver - always go towards the 10 below side of things. :.)

Boy, you commerce guys got too much time on your hands to actually record this stuff. Or did you just finish your Newtonian law of motion homework?

It is 60, but you were probably confused because nobody can step on their freaking gas pedals enough to actually GO 60. It's ridiculous.
