I've been trying to get into the course since the summer! If anyone is thinking about dropping it, PLEASE let me know before hand - I'd love to take your spot.

Have you tried emailing the professors? Generally if they know the student is passionate enough and meets all the prerequisites, they aren't averse to opening up an extra seat.
For example, for Math 1AA3, we were told that despite SOLAR showing all seats being taken, there were extra spots that could be opened upon request. Good luck

is it allowed to buy and sell seats ? how much do they go for in general btw? I know this happens can someone direct me towards where this happens? (not a narc)

I don't think it's allowed and it is pretty risky. If you buy a seat and somebody else just happens to log onto SOLAR in the time your seller drops and you enroll, it's gone and so is your money. It also isn't very fair to the individuals who can't afford to make that kind of a purchase but that is a different story

Hmm well im just curious about the prices really? I know usually you'd meet up at an obscure time to switch in and out. anyone have a friend that has ever paid for one? (and yes im sure admin reads this lol hi phil, tim and corina!) I can;t think of anything I'd want to pay to get into. the underground classes market is kind of interesting though

Yes, I have emailed Profs. I sent an email during the summer and one two nights ago. Both replies where inconclusive - they told me I have to keep trying. If anyone is dropping the course or knows someone who is...PLEASE let me know, lol
