Some important dates and deadlines coming up you need to write on your calendar!

First, please note that SOLAR creates your first 'draft' version of your timetable automatically for you and then everyone gets to go back into SOLAR on JULY 7 to add/drop courses, then things close JULY 28 for 'sectioning' (ie. SOLAR makes your timetable for you) and then later on AUGUST 7 everyone rushes back into SOLAR when it opens up again for you to rearrange things.

At the end of the form it says:
"The information you have provided will be transferred to the Alumni Association so that we can send you information about parent events, alumni events, receive the Parent email newsletter, and Parent's Digest; and offer you opportunities to support the University".

So it's just to keep your parents up to date with the program i guess. If your parents graduated from mac they will definitely benefit from this!
Don't worry too much about it, mcmaster will never send your parents any marks

Yes, as Jim said, it's mainly so that McMaster can get an address to send the McMaster Magazine and Alumni info to.

The New Student Form is the important one... make sure you get that one in!

on july 7th does solar open at midnight or some other time?
