No, you only have to have that form in if you picked MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN. If you picked Installment Plan you're fine.

It's different for international students, you don't qualify for a SIN and I believe you do only need the SIN if you're on OSAP but you should call the Office of International Affairs just incase.

They will email you with instructions regarding OSAP if you're on it but they simply can't email you with every date and deadline. This is your responsibility to know. They provide a list of dates and deadlines on the registrars website. There's no hand holding in university.

I don't know why you didn't get a mail out, I've never done MPP so I'm just repeating to you what's on the website. And again, they do provide a list of important dates, it's on the registrar's website. You have to seek out the information.

On my payment agreement, beside OSAP (under funding options) it says issued. Does that mean my OSAP is going to be ready for pick up soon? I havent really got any confirmation about it. Also, its the "balance forward" on the agreement that has to be paid by me (well, my parents lol) right? If so, is that cheque due on August 25th?? or Sept 1st??

Yes, the balance forward is what money is left owed after OSAP and/or any scholarships or bursaries you have.

You can't pick up your OSAP before Sept 4th. You can pick it up from MUSC 2nd floor CIBC Hall starting at 8:00 am

okay haha so I went to them to clarify and it's just the forms that are due today, everything else is not until the 26th.. the funny thing is that she got this info from student accounts and cashiers themselves.
For ultimate clarification, go here!: http://www.mcmaster.ca/bms/student/p...eadlines.p df

I think the safest bet would be to call student accounts and cashiers.. I don't know what these forms are that they need. I asked the people in the science office and they don't know either.

ya i just got an email from them since I was curious about the 35$ too

Quote:
The application fee is becuase you are doing the montly payment plan.
You get charged 35.00 to do it. You can pay that how ever you want. And
yes please fax your form to 905-527-3615.
I guess I pay 35 dollars the same way I submitted my first payment, online banking..

The list of dates says SOLAR reopens for those who haven't completed the agreement and have had their courses deleted on Aug 26th. When does it reopen for everyone else?

But the list of dates says it closes on the 25th in the evening and then reopens on the 26th to those who have had their courses deleted.... so I suppose for everyone else, SOLAR stays open the whole time?

I believe so, at that point, people who completed all of their necessary documents on time can have a stab at the classes that will suddenly become available
