INQUIRY 1HU3 cancelled?
Just got an email on Friday with the following:

"THIS MESSAGE IS BEING SENT OUT ON BEHALF OF THE ASSOCIATE DEAN. Please be advised that unfortunately it has become necessary to cancel the Term 1 section of INQUIRY 1HU3 from the University's offerings for the 2009-10 session. There will be an additional section of this course offered in Term 2. The timetabling of the second section will be known next week.

INQUIRY 1HU3 will eventually show on your SOLAR course registration as "Cancelled by the University". However, you must drop this course now in order for it to be removed from your student record. Should you wish to replace this course with another, you may do this on SOLAR as well. We will send you an additional email next week to advise you of the scheduling details of this new section in Term 2. In the meantime, if you need help with your course selection, please contact an Academic Advisor in CNH 107.

We apologize for any inconvenience."

Is this legit? I do want to drop it, but if it's just a prank, I don't want to lose my spot in the course. Did anybody else get this email?

Seems to be a legit contact, but I would still contact the associate dean before doing anything. Oh and put 'urgent' in the title, should help.
