The
2010 AGFA Healthcare Innovation Challenge is an opportunity for students superstars who are interested in making the world a healthier place. This is also a great way for students to stand out amongst others in their innovative and creative skills!
The task is to come up with the best proposal to a case question that is related to a real-world problem in the field of Healthcare and Information Technology. On October 5th, 2010, the question will be e-mailed out to everyone registered and they have one month to submit a 1-4 page proposal.Students can work in a team of up to three members on their proposal. Beginning November 5th, representatives from AGFA will review all the submissions and select five finalists. These final teams will be brought down to Waterloo to compete for a $3000 scholarship & flights to Belgium or a summer job with AGFA Healthcare and to meet with AGFA Healthcare industry experts to prepare their final presentation. Other prizes include Ipods, electronics, flights, guaranteed job interviews for all finalists and etc.
