CHANCE TO GET PUBLISHED & PRESENT RESEARCH

MEET HEALTH PROFESSIONALS FROM 4 UNIVERSITIES

On behalf of the Student Chapter Executives at McMaster University, University of Waterloo, Brock University, and University of Toronto, we would be deeply honoured to have you join us at the 3rd annual 2016 CCGHR Global Health Forum on Saturday, February 27th, hosted by University of Waterloo. Please note that FREE transportation will be provided, although seats will be provided on a first come, first serve basis (only 30 seats available).

The theme for this year’s forum examines the role of innovative approaches and solutions in global health. Our aim is to attract students from various departments to a one-day interdisciplinary forum that facilitates dialogue on this topic. The forum will be specifically tailored to providing undergraduate and graduate students with tools to fuel their interest in global health through interactive workshops, expert panel discussions, and an engaging keynote speaker. This year’s keynote speaker is Ms. Lucie Edwards, Chair of Partners in Health Canada and current affiliate of the Balsillie School of International Affairs. Our workshop presenters include the Founder of ColaLife, current employees from Grand Challenges Canada, and specialize in fields not limited to comparative health systems, environmental change and health, health impact assessment, cross-cultural bioethics and health policy.

If you are looking for an opportunity to PRESENT YOUR RESEARCH, or other projects, we encourage you to submit an abstract to [email protected] com with a summary of your idea. Feel free to present a topic in any medium - posters, photovoice, creative projects, the possibilities are limitless. (ABSTRACTS STILL BEING ACCEPTED - ex. We have a group proposing to showcase an educational video about refugee mental health)

Please email [email protected] com if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you there!
