"It Isn’t Mens Fault"
http://thesil.ca/?p=2873&cpage=1#comme nts

An article from the opinions section of our school paper. Likely more comments on that than on all the other sil articles on the site combined.

Gets good when Parham Mortazavi steps into the thunderdome.

it's great because once Parham Mortazavi steps in, the discussion stops.

the author refused to keep answering criticisms, and so was labelled a coward and obviously wrong for not defending himself. once Parham Mortazavi came in, the rest of the commenters decided they couldn't be bothered to answer... almost in the same way as the author. interesting how that works.

Do people actually still care about the issue the article is dealing with? That's something that hasn't really been serious business since like... the 1920s.

Given the amount of replies and the passion with which some people answered... I'd say yes.

It really depends on who you talk to. I personally don't think that feminist issues are a problem in Western Society anymore, I believe that there are 'bigger fish to fry' so to speak, but there are many today who believe that women are still seriously disadvantaged.

Its an interesting debate to have if you can manage to find someone who is going to talk and listen.

Good Lord! Just when I thought I had seen enough :O
I feel rather insignificant as a writer and a student in comparision to that level of idiosyncratic-over the top verbatim. I have no idea how much of it is true despite the "apparent" sources he is linking every single post with. But WOW utter pwnage :S
