i haven't been there in a while but last time i went i remember it had more stores than Jackson and the environment was nicer in my opinion, unless you like shopping with junkies
if you live near campus it is further than Jackson square but if you have the time give it a try

It's a really far ride (about 40 minutes from downtown), so I'd suggest you take the b-line (10) if you're going. It has less stores than limeridge but more than jackson square, I believe. Personally I find it kind of dull although it is bigger/somewhat fancier. Jackson square is more whimsical because it has small shops owned vs. brand name stores, but if you need brand name stores, you should probably check eastgate/limeridge mall.

Don't go to eastgate square. It's far from mac and the stores suck. Its been a pretty dead mall ever since walmart left. You won't fund any high end or trendy stores there. Don't waste your time. I actually think Jackson Square is better since it has a movie theatre. However winners and sportchek are coming to eastgate. But until then, don't bother goin.

Better yet, take the GO bus and go to Burlington Mall (its probably a 20-30min trip including bus from Burlington GO). Honestly the malls in Hamilton are really nothing to brag about. You have more of a chance of finding something you like there, then any other place in Hamilton. Hamilton really needs to step its game up.

I always get Burlington Mall and Mapleview confused. Definitely go to Mapleview, dont even consider Limeridge. Chances are you will leave empty handed if you go to Limeridge in my opinion. I find that mall is really hit hard, or miss really bad.

why would you not consider limeridge mall if it was closer? just because it doesn't have an apple store or a forever 21 (yet) doesn't mean it's the end of the world. it's also been far more populated than mapleview on the occasions that I've been to mapleview.
the thing is, limeridge mall is undergoing construction atm for the 2012-2013 year, so a lot of stores have had to relocate around and close temporarily and whatnot.

p.s. I believe in encouraging people to get out and see hamilton for themselves, so telling them just to take your word and ignore limeridge when it is one of the only remaining decent malls in hamilton (due to an over-abundance of plazas composed of seperate stores) grates on my nerves.

I was there a week ago. Honestly, its more sketch than Jackson sq. Am I the only one that is actually annoyed by how much of a shitty place the majority of Hamilton is?
