Jobs at Mac in the Summer
I had a horrible time finding a job last year, one because I started too late. I'm looking for jobs on campus on OSCAR, but there's literally no listings for summer... and I've been told that I should be starting now to look for jobs.
I know there's a job fair going in MUSC on the 18th but... I'd like to be able to apply on OSCAR. Anyone know where specifically I should be looking for jobs on campus?

Everything at Mac will be posted on OSCAR
some possibilities
- the summer camps
- FYEO
- Facilities
- security

Carleton University Masters of Arts in Canadian Studies: 2012 (expected)

Summer jobs on campus are posted first week of March. |

I started at the FYEO in February.
So it may depend on the specific department. MSU is hiring for April/September (management positions) now, for example

It's a good idea in general to start looking in January. But most summer jobs on OSCAR are posted late February-March. I suggest going to Career Services' Summer Search Workshop. They give you lots of tips and good places to look.
