August 8th I believe (when you receive your schedule). Today is just to change courses.

today SOLAR re-opened up for all undergraduates to change their courses if they want to. The core/tutorial/lab changing bit happens after they release the timetable (which will be on or after the 8th August). I think you can change up your cores & everything on the 11th of August, dw you still have time

Once again, you can't do that until August. Right now, it's just for people switching around courses, not cores/tutorials/lab sections yet. More specifically, August 10th:

You can't choose sections in 99% of courses, but there are a handful of courses where you have the ability to pick sections. Last year I had 2 courses where I could pick sections prior to sectioning, this year I didn't have any though.

Noticed the same thing, they might have increased the # of people allowed into MUGSI from 500.
Sadly SOLAR is as difficult as ever, so in the end it makes absolutely no difference.

thats not true... i went in to add a course and came across no issues... i didnt know that it was still impossible to get in

I also really wish people would read the PDF file regarding SOLAR dates thats being passed around like herpes to avoid having so many threads all asking the same thing.

Well obviously it's not impossible NOW. Just on nights when solar opens...
You had no issues because there isn't more than 250 students trying to get in right now...
O_O...
