good girls are hard to find. here is the reason.

1. Alota hot girls are usually bitchy. only like 20% of them arent
2. Sometimes you can tell just by their face/clothing. I know it is very judgemental but it has worked (as in i was right) 90% of the time
3. this doesnt mean the other ppl i talk to are ugly. It just means they are the smaller group which are good looking and have a good personality

The hot factor definetly makes them more lonely. Alota guys think they are incapable/not good enough to try. They filter down the list to something more in their comfort and find something generally better.

The girl that most of us look at and say "effing Gorgeoous" {note, snooty English accent required when you say "gorgeous"}, is also someone that we don't often approach, but some of us have ventured there once or twice... And the conversation is not interesting (that's not an objective statement though). Albeit, it can be fun when you're both blasted, it's not long-term interesting: It's interesting until the alcohol is gone from your blood. (Oh, and if you're both blasted, and she let you sit beside her, chances are, you're not going to be doing much talking...)

MY two cents. Only put 5 minutes of thought into it, and that's all I'm willing to put into it right now, so don't bash too hard.
I like how the hot ones are either airheads or intoxicated, and the ugly ones are the ones that can provide decent conversation.

In response to OP: It's just you.

if you like to dress nicer, go for it. i don't look down on people who like to spend their disposable income, or save up for a super long time to buy something really expensive because they really love it.

if anything when i see girls with awesome style (not just super expensive stuff thrown together) it's like gat dayum.
I never said don't dress nicely. It's possible to look good without spending a fortune, you know.
All I'm saying is, the value of the clothes you wear has nothing to do with a person's worth.

There are so many professors who I see wearing the same clothes a lot, and yet they are some of the people I respect the most. In contrast, I tend to have far less respect for people who are wearing a billion expensive items. moral of the story; what you wear doesnt define who you are.
yeah cool then you respect people less because of their pricey clothes? i didn't say you have to spend a billion dollars to dress well, but why knock on people that do?

First of all, I don't think you understood the context behind my statement on respect. It was in response to katia's comment that because she's in fashion, she can't afford to dress in uggs and jeans. What I meant was, just because you have a lot of expensive items, that does not imply what kind of status or reputation you have or how much respect you demand from other people. Furthermore, when I said I tend to respect people who wear a lot of expensive items less, I was implying towards those people who wear expensive things for the sake of having expensive things. I don't care if someone chooses to save up for something they really like that happens to be expensive, because they like the way it looks. I'm not going to judge those people, obviously. But there are people who dress only in expensive items thinking it makes them more important or puts them at a higher level than other people, and those are the ones whom I tend to have no respect for.

I'm going on my personal experience by the people that I've met in each category, therefore it clearly varies from person to person, so idk why you're hatin' on my opinion :\

Don't you think that guy would feel totally awkward, because it would be out of the blue? You have neevr talked or anything, you've never even seen what he looks like becasue all you can see is hos profile while sitting beside him in lecture. I dunno, I think it would be kinda sketch.

Sit beside him. Problem solved. And if you don't come off like a sketchy person, then he has no reason to believe you're lying to him. By sketchy, I am being very general and including:
giggling, whispering to someone else beside you, texting immediately before and after you do it...

Essentially you have to go to class like he did, pay attention (or as much attention as he is) and not make him feel like there is something else going on that he isn't in on...

Well since we all know Souldier is sexist and won't apply his theories to men, I'll be the one to do it.

All the men here saying they don't like when a girl dresses nices & finds it unecessary, prefers personality > looks, etc, are all the ones that are fuggo irl and are trying to justify why they're all alone.

Or whatever it is he would say.

But considering I've seen a lot of you irl, it's definitely a valid theory.
