Does SOLAR indicate timetable conflicts (not just academic requisite failures) at this point?

no it doesn't u can add courses even if it conflicts
it tells u that it conflicts after the timetable is released

yep, apparently MUGSI had a brainfart (shocking isn't it?). closing my browser and avoiding the student portal did the trick. thanks for the advice everyone.

That's what I figured, and damn it really sucks.

Two of my required courses conflict, and there's no real way around it.

I wouldn't use portal to get to mugsi/solar ever... It doesn't buy anything over going in directly (and sometimes, like now, it appears to hurt...).
