Just my luck
So I got accepted with an average of 87% so I should get 1000$?
It turns out they just changed it
hear is the new entrance awards
McMaster President’s Awards
Final Admission Average to Program Value
95% $3,000
McMaster Honour Awards
Final Admission Average to Program Value
90 - 94.99% $1,200
85 - 89.99% $750
80 - 84.99% $500
it used to be
McMaster President’s Awards
Final Admission Average to Program Value
95% $3,000
McMaster Honour Awards
Final Admission Average to Program Value
90 - 94.99% $2000
85 - 89.99% $1000
80 - 84.99% $750
so most people who lost the most between 95-90%

Overall averages must be getting higher each year and they had to adjust it for that.
That is unfortunate.
Over at Brock University you would have got $4000 with your 87%.

Over 4 years. If you get 93% and above, you get HOLY GODLY $14,000 entrance scholarship.
That is a brand new car!
You will need it though, caused their campus is literally a parking lot + building next to a parking lot + another building.

Just your luck? You got an acceptance, thats some good luck if you ask me. Go celebrate, if the uni shafted you for money, then its just conditioning because they all tend to do that.
