Just buy the books off of someone who already took the course. Get the PS and BS books. EK is much better than Kaplan for verbal and as long as you follow the princeton WS "outline" you're pretty much guaranteed an R.

For the WS outline, you can just google it and I'm sure it will come up.

I knew people who studied for the LSATs and all they did were practice tests.

Examkrackers is generally considered pretty good for bio and verbal.

For physics/chem a lot of people recommend the Berkeley Review (if you know someone who has them that'd probably be easier than getting them shipped to Canada). If not, Examkrackers Kaplan or TPR probably have decent materials for these sections.

Overall I would suggest Berkeley for everything except bio and verbal, and EK for both of those. However the physical sciences and orgo are a bit easier to teach therefore most of the books you can buy for these sections are probably going to be decent.

Im using the BR books, and i would highly recommend them to anyone who has somewhat of a science backround, and has taken al the required material. Not that they skip over a lot of stuff or anything, they just dont bog down on the little minor details that the MCAT wont test, they go overmain concepts and give awesome tips, and the passaged in the BR books are very similar to the ones in the AAMC practice MCAT tests. I love these books... lol !
...lets hope they actually help as much as i like to think they are.

For verbal though... EK FTW. so helpful.

EK's verbal practice is good. Kaplan does a good job in explaining chem, orgo and bio; their physics book isn't so good though
They go into detail on the important parts of MCAT, also, they have some good (and some pointless) analogies to keep some concepts stuck in your mind.
