You can't take it if you've taken Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors U.

He clearly said he took Calc. Anyways, if it's full, there's no way you can get in it unless someone drops it, unless it's required then you have to contact someone... lol..

Take Math 1LS3 instead? Wait, no, you're in soc sci. If you're not good at math, why would you want to take a math course anyway?

Yeah, so if he took Calc he can't take Math 1F03 (Grade 12 equivalent in University).

I hate how people just assume things. And then put a butt-load of smilies to kinda make their assumption look nicer. Well maybe instead of taking the time to put all these cute smilies maybe you should read the post twice before posting and confusing the asker and everyone else.

I kind of dislike (but not hate...hate's a strong word) when people throw in their 12 cents and come off really self-righteous. The guy didn't 'assume' anything, he misread it: he made a mistake, no need to read into it so deeply.

Assuming is when someone doesn't say something, and you fill in the details by yourself (potentially incorrectly). ie. if someone jumped to the conclusion that I'm a woman because I haven't said so in this post.

You can try talking to the math department, but I really doubt they'll let you take a course that you've pretty much already taken.

you will not be able to take it, the course consists of vectors and how to take derivetives of a variety of functions. All of this is covered in high school calculus and it would not make much sense for you to take the course. I recommend taking math 1M03, it starts with a review on derivatives and moves onto integration and related topics. Also if you want to brush up on some calculus i suggest going through the following videos

Last time I checked, no one wanted your opinion. Don't like my smiles? Don't read my posts.
