kin 1Y03/1YY3 HELP
I want to take kin 1Y03/1YY3 as electives and only 1YY3 is open right now
But I can't get it cause of requisite failure because 1YY3 requires 1Y03
What should I do? is there anyway I can get in to 1Y03? I have to do this quick because i'm afraid kin 1YY3 is going to be taken up

There's no way you can take 1YY3 without 1Y03. Unless you can prove in some way that you already possess a lot of the knowledge from somewhere else, they won't grant you a waiver. 1YY3 is a direct continuation of 1Y03, in the same way that Chem 1AA3 is a continuation of 1A03--you wouldn't go take 1AA3 without having 1A03, and the same principle applies here.

I know that, I think you misunderstood my question
I was asking if there was any chance of me getting into kin 1Y03
Can I email the prof? would that work? If I can take kin 1Y03, 1YY3 is open so it would work perfectly

Oh, sorry.
A lot of people have posted here saying that no one will open up spots into the course, but maybe now that the term has started it can't hurt to check? If they have any leftover spots at all, there's no reason why they wouldn't give you one, because it's way too late to be saving them for people. There might genuinely be no spots left though, in which case there's no way to get into it.

You could take 1Y03 online through Athabasca and then register for 1YY3. You'd have to talk to an academic advisor ASAP though since SOLAR won't let you register for 1YY3.
