A trio of young men closed out a night at the McMaster student union pub the hard way early Friday, throwing knives and then running from police.

No one got hurt and no one was caught after the incident at 2 a.m. Friday.

Police said copious amounts of alcohol on both sides of a dispute inside the bar contributed to the disturbance.

Two men from one group of three involved in the dispute were leaving the pub when they were confronted by three others, one of whom threw a knife.

Nobody got hurt and the trio ran away.

Police searched the area with a dog but lost track of the trio around Hollywood Street North and Sanders Boulevard west of the university.

No man, that was a thing of the past. It was probably a huge Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 fan...He was probably a noob since his accuracy was horrible.
