Labs of Math 1ZA3 Total BS
Title says it,
Math Labs are total BS. I mean seriously, it's the program that's doing all the work anyway. Plus, this is not a programming class.
Now I have a reason to ***** about this : Labs are worth a total of 15% of the final mark.
So I was doing the labs, and no matter what I did, on some sections, the answer wouldn't show up right. It was baiscally an endless struggle between the forces of good and evil (sarcasm).
Like seriously... Why not have a CAPA-like assignements or some quizzes instead of having to do programming in a MATH course ?
I didn't even mention that there's no math on avenue.

Cry more. Maple labs are a complete joke compared to the MATLAB ones you'll run into it 2nd year. If you can't get the 15% freebie from Maple then that's pretty sad.

Ya, if you think that's bad.... well, enjoy matlab.
Also, just so you know,
Maple =/= Programming

I just don't understand how doing Math labs with maple is going to help us with Math. I don'T care if its easy or not. It's like asking me to cook and I get evaluated on it instead of playing hockey for a hockey practice. I just did the first ones, so I don't know about the other.

you're gonna wish you had that easy 15% when you get butt raped by the midterms.
and if you hate it now, you're gonna hate matlab even more. maple will eventually go away but matlab wont.

You are the only person I have ever met who has complained about Maple. As others have said, wait for the butt-rape to come.

Get used to it. We have to do Matlab labs and that is more programming than maple and this is also in MATH.
edit: and yes i know im a day late

I rather liked the 1ZA3 Maple Lab, finicky sure, but I can see Maple being somewhat useful. Then again, I'm in Comp Sci.

Becouse in upper years you'll need to use either program to solve some complex equations, check your work, and get through homework.
Plus, programming is pretty important for engineering since it develops your logic and thinking skills.

Calm down there, Fourier. You realize that the first month is review, right? You'd damn well know "all the math in the course" so far.
