I also want to watch this movie, although I didn't watch every single episode of the cartoon series (It's a cartoon right? Written by an American?)

I never saw the cartoon, but I did see the trailer and it looks amazing. So yes, I'm excited.

Yeah, it's an American cartoon (amazing series, could easily pass for an anime with it's quality) but yeah, the movie itself only covers season 1 of the series and then I believe there will be two more movies in the coming years.

It seems a little too whitewashed for me, but likely still worth the download.

Most movies in Hollywood are whitewashed, and admittedly it bothered me at first, especially with this movie, but all I want is for the story to be told well and done justice.

Since I now know that it only covers book 1, I will definatly see it. I thought it went through the entire series which would just be poor, they would have to just skip to the end lol

My nine year old brother loves it (especially after I downloaded all the episodes off DC++). I'm hoping to finish all the episodes myself before I take him to see the movie

It was terrible, bad acting, and was it just me, or did it take them 50 hand motions to make one move and the bad guys just stood there waiting?

I actually started falling asleep during the climactic scene.

oh wells, at least my bro enjoyed himself.

I saw the movie on Canada Day and enjoyed it. I thought there were parts that required more explaining. I agree the acting wasn't fantastic, but don't forget they're kids...very few child actors are actually good before the age of 15/16.

I'm looking forward to the second.
