LearnLink Info
I thought this might be useful for those who are trying to log into LearnLink, but can't...

Quote:
Please note that as of August 15th 2009, LearnLink moved to the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS).

LearnLink is now available only to the following programs: BHSc (Honours), Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences, HRM, Midwifery, Nursing, Physician Assistant, CCRA and Child Life Studies.

All non-FHS courses and users have been removed and cannot be recovered. The deans of all of the other faculties decided not to support LearnLink, so all non-FHS courses have moved to the new ELM system (http://elm.mcmaster.ca/). Faculty, staff and students outside of the FHS are now no longer permitted on LearnLink.

If however, you are a non-FHS student who elects to take a HTH SCI course, an account will automatically be created for you either this Friday or Monday based on the Registrar's class lists (with both username and password as your student number). The account will be deleted once you have completed (or drop) the HTH SCI course.

New FHS LearnLink users (Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences and Nursing Graduate Programs) will have their accounts created either this Friday or Monday (with both username and password as your student number).

CCRA users are now on LearnLink (with both username and password as your student number).

Goce, nh999 all say thanks to Ivan Q. for this post.

I was wondering why LL was down for others but not for me.

A lot of clubs are going to be in trouble.

Glad you posted this. I was trying to read my club e-mails and it kept on telling me I forgot my password, which I knew was wrong because I wrote it down.

Have the mentioned whether the account that will be created will use our MacID or the old style learnlink usernames. I have two Health Sci courses this term. I was actually looking forward to them eliminating all other systems and replacing it with ELM. It drove me nuts last term when I had to log into 5 different systems everyday.

Learnlink still uses the student number as your username and not mac ID. Also it is mentioned in the original post that your initial password will also be your student number.

Yeah, I could also get on when they erased everything else. But now... nope.
