This might possible be the silliest... question asked on macinsiders, but how would I calculate the Least Significant digit (LSD) of a number.
Ex: 1135250, would 0 - LSD or 5 ?
thanks

The method I was taught was that if you have a 5 as the last digit, and the number before it is even, you round down. if it was odd, you would round up. so in this case, it would be 1135200.

Atlantic side --> start counting non-zeroes --> w/o period
Pacific side --> start counting from 1st non-zero --> w/period
