Leave the Pack Behind Presents ‘Smoke Free Day’ – March 10th 2011
In conjunction with Campus Health’s ‘Welcome to the GREENLife’ Fair
Pledge to be smoke-free on Thursday, March 1, 2011!
Staying smoke free for one even ONE day can give you confidence in continuing the effort to remain smoke-free. Not a smoker? Not a problem! Come visit the LTPB booth in the MUSC marketplace on Thursday, March 10 to play games, get freebies and lean about tobacco and the environment. Our team will be taking pledges to be smoke-free, as well as conducting Carbon Monoxide tests.
Check out our website below for more information and to find out more about how tobacco use affects our everyday lives, whether you’re a smoker or a non-smoker.
Why Pledge to stay smoke-free?
Because I know smoking is the #1 cause of preventable death in North America.
Because I know that smoking kills more people every year than AIDS, alcohol, car accidents, fires, drugs, murders, and suicides combined.
Because I know the Tobacco Industry spends over 6 billion dollars a year or $200 a second, on advertising to get me to start smoking.
Because I know 90% of smokers begin before18 years of age.
Because I know the Facts.

It's still right in the thread title at least.
