This is very serious news. I haven't heard anything about it, but if it happened, I hope the person is ok. I'm sure Security Services would know.

If it DID happen I don't know if the Rez staff/management would choose to reveal this to the rest of the McMaster community (sometimes they choose not to...depends on the situation).....just wait and see I guess.

There was a crash in front of campus last evening too... a car and a bus on that median before the hospital!
I hope everyone from both incidents turns out ok! :S

yea, apparently what happened was that the friend of some kid who worked in a comic shop hired a prostitute to pretend to be interested in him for his birthday. The thing was that they fell in love, and she confessed the whole thing, spurring a spontaneous marriage. The prostitute, to protect her privacy lets call her Nebraska, tried to get her clothes from her former employer, a prostitute manager, with no luck. The kid, lets call him Laurence, goes to talk to the manager, and following a heated discussion Laurence grabbed what he thought was Nebraska’s clothes. Instead of clothes, the suitcase ended up containing a lot of cocaine, which Laurence realized he had to try and unload.
Deciding that Hamilton was the easiest place to find a suitor, Laurence rushed to meet an old friend he knew in the area. Laurence’s friend introduced him to a wealthy business man and his associate, lets call them John and Ellis, willing to take on such an investment. Following intense negotiations, Laurence and John agree on a price, and decide to go ahead with the transaction. Unknown to anyone else, the cops caught a wiff of this, and decided to put the pinch on Ellis. The day of the transaction Ellis was wearing a wire for the police, who were listening to the whole deal in another room. When the cops break in, they have a big argument with John’s bodyguards who are armed with automatic weapons. The real kicker came however when those gangster who originally owned the cocaine busted into the room, armed with shotguns and pistols etc. John immediately then found out that Elliot was the snitch, and in his anger, threw coffee on his face. Corry (a cop) shoots John, which triggers a big shootout. Everyone died, except Nebraska who hit the floor. Laurence got shot in the eye, but survived the bullet and only lost his eye. They left, drove down to Mexico, and are planning on having a child and living happily ever after.
Oh and some kid wearing baggy clothing at McMaster got cheap over half a Q and pricked another kid, while an old lady not fit to drive and a bus driver checking out my awesome school aged bod crashed into the median in front of the school.

I thought it was one car that the bus crashed into, but as I got closer, it was actually two. Not sure how that happened...
I hope this incident in Les Prince isn't true... and if it is, I really hope they're okay.

I don't know details about what happened, but I do have two friends who saw the "victim". Apparently his face was "slashed" and it was quite a bloody scene. When they saw him, he was being escorted by an officer near commons. That's all I can contribute.

I'm sure if it did happen that the campus and city police might want to keep a tight lid on it until their investigation is complete.
People should not be naive. Bad shit happens in resident. Remember last year when the kid set Brandon Hall on fire?
And to those who say nothing severe happens- He was in court today, apparently trying to plea bargain exactly how long he'll spend in jail...
Now that being said for the most part our legal system is a joke.
