1. Being with somebody I love,
2. Knowing that the other people I love and they love have fulfilling lives free of suffering and end peacefully
3. And knowing that we'll all end up in Heaven
would fulfil one of my wildest dreams.
However, should this not occur, I would be content with:
1. Somebody I love being happy without me, as long as they were happy
2. The people we love living love filled lives and ending peacefully
3. Us all ending up in Heaven where we can hopefully all be together with the people we really want to be with, not the people we ended up with or didn't
4. If the first part of the second set of clauses holds true, I would not rest peacefully until I became a brilliant paediatrician who made a difference even if it meant a relatively empty life in most other aspects.

I would die happy if I get a job as the editor-in-chief of GQ or Details Magazine and get to live and work in NYC... along with having an apartment on the 23rd floor of a very high NY building; with a loving partner and lots of daily parties.
That is my fantasy life... I know it's never gonna happen 'cuz I'm in Science and living in NYC is just too good to be true. *sigh*
P.S. NY is my favourite city, if you haven't figured it out already.

... and I don't why the 23rd floor, but an apartment on the 23rd floor just sounds so attractive to me. I'm kinda weird haha.

I'd die happily if I see that humanity has learned to respect the planet we're living on and the forces and organisms we share it with. Also a bit of humility and awe considering we're just a tiny speck in the vastness of the cosmos.
Too darn self-centred !

Lets get to the basics of philosophy. Would you steal a loaf of bread if your family was dying of starvation ? BOOM!

I couldn't possibly know how to calculate the probability of that. =P
But uh.
I'll say zero likelihood, because that would somehow make our actions in this life meaningful, and I thorougly believe that they aren't. =P

lol
i agree
I feel lucky to be able to live in the first place. The probability that i would be born as I am right now is infinitely small (thanks to all those other sperm cells that could've reached the egg instead of me =) ) and I feel privileged to live ... or die
