quick question!!! does anyone know why only thode and club mills is open 24/7 during exams or even why health sci and mills isnt open later than6 saturdays during exams?
i really need quiet study space with internet and a plug and i feel right at this time its vitrually impossible idn if im the only one that thinks like this but mac realy needs more study space thats open longer and with interets and plugs!!!

I agree...why can't the libraries be open 24/7 during such crucial times for studying? I think it's unfair to the students to not have simple resources such as a table, chair and plugs. This IS a school afterall....

why dont you just download all of your lectures at home and then find a cozy corner or classroom somewhere to study the pdfs/powerpoint slides

even if i was to do that its still loud everywhere!!!!!!! andall my notes are on onenote with my notes typed directly on there

I used to think that, but now that Thode is open 24/7, I'm always able to find a spot with a plug and everything. It might get a little loud sometimes, but 2nd floor is usually better and anything is better than staying at home.

Exactly: It's a school. There are tonnes of lecture halls/classes/rando halls that have plugs and internet and they're quiet

The 24/7 thing is new this year, it's a pilot thing they're trying out which is why it isn't in all the libraries. Keeping them open costs money, that's pretty much the reason why ANY place isn't open 24/7 all the time, not just libraries at school.

IAHS was completely empty when I was there at 5-6pm
People who can't find a quiet study space are ruhtarded
