For anyone who has taking these courses can you give me more details on the course, how it was , how difficult it was and the amount of workload.

I took Psych 2RB3 with Dr. Beston, and overall I liked it. Beston is a great prof, and the material was pretty easy. It was also a lot more interesting than Psych 2RA3 (the pre-req). Most people found it harder, but I actually thought it was easier, the statistical tests we used seemed much more intuitive.

We had weekly assignments to do online, which were usually not too time consuming and were a great way to make sure you knew the material. We also had 3 tests, and you were allowed to drop your lowest score (although that was only after a scheduling mix-up meant a lot of people had to run across campus before the test, some of which had to write it late). The exam seemed a fair bit harder than the tests, and had many more concept questions.

Overall it was a good course. If you look at the reviews for Psych 2RA3, most of the same things hold true.

Thanks! What type of things do you learn or does the course description give enough details?

life sci 2a03 is a pretty laid back class. I had it with Dr. Dej but I don't think she'll be teaching this fall. There are weekly tutorials where you will complete a quiz or if you don't have a quiz then it's a presentation. There's 2 tests which consists of 2 parts; multiple choice in class and an online part that is written. THERE IS NO FINAL EXAM!!! but you do have to write a paper...and because there are 2 sections and the 1st section's class happens to fall on a Mon, if there's a long weekend, the 2nd section will also have their Tues class canceled. Hope that doesn't sound to confusing...

2RA3 (the pre-req) covered basic stuff like Z-tests, T-tests, standard deviations, powers of certainty stuff like that.

2RB3 covered regressions, Chi squares, ANOVAs, and non parametrics (Kruskal-wallis, friedman's test, etc). Neither is that difficult, I just found that the second semester stuff was more practical and easier to relate to real life.
