I know that the course has been restructured for this year and was wondering how people who took the course this fall found it. There is now 2 assignments worth 15% each instead of a 30% midterm. What were these assignments about? I am thinking about dropping this course for enviro sci 1A03.

People fail courses even like Econ 1B03/1BB3..not everyone passes every course. Enviro Sci 1A03 was an easy course. I didn't really take much away from it, but I ended up with a 10 in it.

How did you find the labs in Enviro Sci 1A03?

this is a really easy course i recommend u take it
the assignments were based on a movie u watch during class, the 1st one was about global warming and 2nd was about dead zone in the ocean from what i remember
u pick a topic and use evidence from scientific journals and stuff like that, dont really remember the details
u are given couple weeks to do them so if u start early its pretty easy

Thanks, and also I saw from the 'Grade Release' forum that you took Earth Sci 2WW3, how did you find the term paper for that course and the course in general in comparison to Life Sci 2H03. Also do you remember the length of papers and assignments for Life Sci 2H03 and Earth Sci 2WW3?

the thing with enviro 1a03 this year is that bernier isnt teaching it. every year he has taught it he has given us the exam before the exam so barely any need to study for it. labs are easy since there are tutorials they post for it and quizzes last year were kinda hard but easy to get 90+ because you got 3 tries. things may change with new prof tho.

if both courses are taught by bernier then the structure and difficulty is generally the same however the content of 2h03 is more interesting whereas earthsci 2ww3 is really dry and boring especially since it was night class.
the term paper for both classes were 5 pages max double spaced, and since u are specifically asking about term papers im gonna guess you dont like writing, but these papers are probably the easiest in terms of upper level science courses so they are not really something big to worry about its not that bad
