Life Science I timetables
I wanted some help with my timetable, but the only specific threads were for engineering and health science. This is a thread for a far superior program,
Life Sciences~!
give me an 'L'! give me an 'ife sciences'!:cheerleade r:

Anyways, here's my term 1 and term 2 timetable, respectively.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I think my timetable looks okay, but perhaps because the only one I've compared it to is my brother's in engineering, which makes anything else look like a land of rainbows and fluffy white bunnies.
I heard somewhere that I should try to avoid 8:30 classes, but that's how I start every day in term 2. Will I come out alive? Or should I try to change this?

Other first years, please post here too! We can compare

This is mine... I think I'm going to die second semester ..
Do you think I should take math 1b03 in combination with math 1aa3 and chem 1aa3? or just take math 1b03 in second year?
I would like to do a Honors Bio and Math degree and then ...go to medical or dental school.

Anyways, here's mine.. I might change things around though....

I'd change the 9 hours of class. :\

8:30s are fine. Half the time you don't actually go to class in 1st year life sci. =p

But you should if you can't learn out of the book/on your own.

In my year, some of the profs were so terrible that it wasn't even worth it to go to class. As most first year classes are "standardized" - especially math and chemistry, you can refer to the text for most/all of the info. But if you can't learn on your own you should probably go to class.

I'd recommend going to the bio classes since they keep the profs constant, unless Kajuira is teaching the section. Then everything you need to know from tests is directly from her lecture notes.

Starkad says thanks to Lois for this post.

If you live on residence they aren't that bad.

I'm not sure if this is a serious question, but the answer is that professional schools will only have a few required courses (which you theoretically could take as electives). The degree itself is not nearly as important. Professionaly schools will consider the personal character far more importantly, along with grades and standardized test scores.

So, long and short, any degree will do, as long as you have the required courses.

Hm.. well, I am in Residence this year, so maybe it won't be too bad?
I'm most awake in the morning, so long as I've had a strong cup of coffee (or three), so I might leave it mostly as is, perhaps I'll try to nudge things so I've got a sleep-in day on Thursday or Friday.

I dunno about the math Goldfish. I mean, if you think you can handle it I'd leave it as is. Otherwise, it might be a nice easier class to take next year. :s

8:30 classes really are not so bad if you're a morning person. I like to get an early start to a day anyways.

I remember going to my 8:30 classes and then just going back to residence to sleep since I had nothing afterwards XD
