Soooo I'm not in Life sci, I'm in artsci but I'm gonna be taking both BIO 1A03 and BIO 1M03 so I figured this would be the best forum to ask the question. Are all the labs usually filled right away, because I want to switch my BIO 1A03 lab to Wendsday so I don't get stuck with 6 hours of classes in a row?

I'd say no they are not filled right away. And there will be several lab sections for the same day and time so if one is full, try the others.

Keenu! We pretty much have opposite schedules until second term, where we have bio 1A03 together. Hopefully we'll still meet before then, though!

Review my timetable please
Hello guys, I was wondering if anyone can review my timetable and recommend any changes I should make? Besides the big gaps like 3-5 hrs between classes/tutorials/labs, anything I should do about it? I'm in first year life science.
Thanks for the help

Seems fine to me but make sure you will be able to wake up for 9:30 classes and not be inclined to skip them later in the term.

Take a look and tell me what you think, I was hoping for something like a friday where I would have very few classes, or at least ones that were earlier than 3 or whatever I have. Any tips on what I could do to make first year schedule any better?

Use the Master Timetable to move around your courses.
Also, your pictures are kind of small... I can't really read anything.

Jeremy, can you review my timetable? As well, is it common to have a lot of 3 hr gaps in first year?

Usman commented on your schedule. Your schedule looks alright, you should try switching your labs and tutorials around to try and eliminate those 3 hour gaps if you don't want them. However, 3 hour gaps are better than 1 hour gaps so keep that in mind.

Try switching around your cores in term 2 to eliminate the 1 hour gaps.
If you are on-campus, 8:30 classes are definitively doable. I had 8:30 classes that I went to and I'm not a morning person at all.

If anyone else commutes like I do, be VERY careful with 8:30 am labs during wintertime. Even if there's a huge snowfall the night before your lab, you're still expected to show up to your 8:30 lab. Although TAs are usually understanding, you should plan ahead and leave home extra early to make it on time.
