I know this has been discussed before but even that was a while ago. So, whatever happened to Mac lipdub? :(

The people in charge didn't get funding last year because they were not an official MSU club. They were told to either create a new club, or join an existing one.

So, in my opinion, there is two possibilities:

a) They never created the group and kind of gave up.

b) They created the group, but decided not to make it public because they didn't know how to go forward from there.

Either way, it was a pretty big fail.

Why are people so interested in this...?

Because it shows school spirit ..which I think is actually important if you like your school.

MacPak said it right. It demonstrates school spirit, student body at large, and something that will always be remembered of Mac. It's clearly not one of the random-day-at-the-beach videos/projects. Sad that Mac couldn't make it happen, oh well.

This started a whole sensation of Lipdubs for school all last year.

Oh I remember seeing that! Hahah but I haven't seen any other schools.
A Mac Lipdub would be EPIC!

They had been drumming up a lot of interest on facbeook last summer, but you just got the sense that the organizers really didnt have a clue about how to organize such a large scale event. Would have been extremely cool to be a part of, but the leadership just wasnt there
