God damn mugsi. I'm going to have to stay up really late now until it's up and plot my own timetable.

Not in Canada, aint happening.... Maybe in places like Britain or Greece but definitely not Canada. You might get 20 students or so.

Why would you log on at the last chance possible to get your timetable? Everyone should be acquainted with the technology services at Mac now enough to know that this is a really silly thing to do.

i would really like to get on avenue before 12 though

danallan, Moh2in all say thanks to RyanC for this post.

My solution
So naturally, the personal timetables off of MUGSI are not working. The best solution I found is to go to the master undergraduate timetable (search on Mcmaster.ca) then select your faculty (ie Civ Eng) and then select your courses manually by selecting their course codes that are listed. A page will take about 15 seconds to load, that page should show you the times for the course.

Hope this helps.

Perhaps McMaster should get it together and upgrade their servers to make sure this kind've bs doesn't happen at the start of every single term. The onus should be on the university to deal with this problem, not the students.

Its not a matter of onus I was referring to, just the fact that you should learn and adapt to how the world works, rather than relying on regularity and routine.

Lucky for me, I was smart enough to print both terms' timetables when I got them. However, I wanna log into MUGSI to make sure nothing was changed for Term 2.

This discussion makes me feel stupid just because I didn't print mine in advance. I think that since students are paying a lot of money for school, things like Mugsi should be working properly at all times. Most especially during last minute things. Besides in the real world a lot of people do wait last minute to do things & so don't argue with me that students have to do things early cause the real world is that way.

Regardless, I think Mugsi is bs. I say student strike. Faculty can do it so why can't we do it. I mean they strike when they are unhappy of something, so why can't students do the same thing.
