I was lonely too somewhat during welcome week, until I dragged my Toronto friends out to Hamilton. Don't worry Audriana, we have the MI get together on Friday afterall. :]

Lonliness is an interesting emotion - it makes you feel alone, yet it has almost no correlation to how many people might actually be around you. An emotional disconnection from others, as opposed to a physical separation.

I'm sure there are a lot of new students here who might have met many people over the past few days, yet still feel a bit lonely. Don't worry about it, once you start to make meaningful connections with people, which takes much more time than a few days, all will be fine.

Alternatively, I find the voices in my head make good company

If anyone here is lonely as in 'I want someone to talk to but no ones here' SEND ME A PM! I'm finding myself not doing a whole lot, and I'd LOVE people to walk around campus with, or get dinner with, or something! I don't know anyone from any other residence! I check macinsiders quite a bit, so if anyone wants to hang out, just let me knowww and we'll do something.
Can you telll that I'm kind of lonely?

Lonley as in.... the other way though? The internal way? Can't help, I have it too!

Just talk to people on DC++ then. There are many interesting, polite and respectable individuals there.

I don't think anyone will ever forget their encounters with OSL on there.

A breakfast relay?

That was just something the staff in your building planned for you guys during WW. It may be possible to do again another time, so suggest it to your RLS staff!
