Lost Iphone
Hey Guys,

I need your help.
So I have a problem. I lost my new iphone at Metro while shopping.
I was wondering if there is a way to track it.
I dont have mobileme or anything, and I didnt have my 3g turned on at the time.

Is there some sort of website? Or anything I can do?

Also if I can't find my phone, what do i do about my 3 year rogers contract?

Thanks For Any Help,
Im really going crzy right now

No way to track it without having the specific app dedicated to it installed or mobile me. Contact rogers and they might replace it for you, they have a hardware replacement policy.

Have you already tried to call it? Maybe a nice person found it.

You should either call them or go speak to someone there as soon as possible. Maybe someone found it, but you won't know that unless you speak to them yourself, and right away!

Not everyone follows the whole "finders keepers" way of thinking. There are actually honest people out there, believe it or not.

I was going to say the exact same thing. I sure as hell would try to find the owner of a phone if it was possible.

Heck, I returned a BlackBerry I once found in the movie theater. 'Finders keepers, losers weepers' is something people shouldn't follow >_>. When the new iPod Nano came out (chrome) I found one in the field around my school in the snow, and I returned it to it's rightful owner. Karma, it can either help you, or hurt you. :o

Hopefully you find it, but remember that MobileMe is free now so activate it if your getting a new iPhone.

On a lighter note:

I've found about 3 phones in the student centre throughout the years... got em all back to the rightful owners, hopefully you get some nice metro employee to do the same..

Phone Rogers ASAP inform them about the fact its missing.. so you don't end up with any nasty bills because the finder happened to run up your bill just to mess with you. Don't expect it back, but send a text and leave a voicemail message to the phone just before you report it missing telling them you'll pay for its return, since if its locked to Rogers, the person might not end up being able to use the phone anyways if its locked...

installing that app is the first thing I would do. My uncle got his bold stolen from right under his nose a the airport a couple weeks back, there was a getaway car and everything!
