Lost iPod Touch
Hey everyone,
I lost my iPod Touch last night (Wednesday March 21) in MDCL room 2249. I returned today to find my iPod cover slip on the ground... It's quite the dirty cover slip, so it was really easy to identify.
It's black, 16 or 32 gb... can't quite remember lol, has a case that looks like a cassette tape.

If anyone know anything about it at all, could you please please please let me know? I would really, really appreciate it.
I am willing to offer some sort of monetary award, or buy it off whoever has it, or buy that person a new iPod, ANYTHING.. I just want what's on my iPod, and my iPod of course. :(

Thanks so much

if you happen to go to the same room, ask some people there if they found it (as long as your not too intrusive).

on the other hand, if you left it at night then a janitor may have picked it up while cleaning but i dont know who to contact for that.

@Crzyio - I can't be sure... I think I did? I went on iCloud and locked it/set a message... What else can I do?

@Snowman - Yeah I went back this morning at 11:30am and there was a lady there, she said she hadn't seen anything. Then I returned 2 hours later after the room was empty, and I saw my cover slip for my iPod on the floor. It was definitely mine because I cut out the slip myself (hence uneven edges), AND it was really dirty, all around the sides... I'm scared this means that person who found my iPod is definitely selling or keeping my iPod.

But I'm willing to buy it back... I just want MY iPod.

By the way thanks for all the help so far, I really appreciate it

It's 4th gen, black, 32 gigs
I have the serial number if you know anything about it!!

Thanks Julian :( I'm actually monitoring kijiji like a monster. There's this one that looks sort of suspicious but I don't want to make wrong accusations, cause that would be ruuuude.
But it's 4th gen, black, 32 gigs, no usb, no headphones, no chargers, a few scratches on the back, and this person posted this listing TWICE because I emailed both these ads and got responses from the same person.
I asked for pictures but the person isn't giving them.
What should I do...?

If you happened to check iCloud before your iPod was erased you could have located it on a map where it was connected last to wifi.

Either way Goodluck! Hopefully you find it on kijiji

I very highly doubt the ad (wherever you found it) is your ipod touch; I did the same thing when I went searching for a missing item, and I found everybody and every ad that matched the description super suspicious, lol.

I'd cut my losses to be honest :(

maybe ask them questions thatll lead you to really know if its your ipod.. like if a case comes with it or if they have music on it already or something. just seem seriously interested in buying it. say you wanna buy it as a starter ipod for your little cousin who doesnt have a computer so if theres music already on it itd be good,..... ahahaha

@RyanC - i knowwwww i know i know i know. :( but this one just seemed soo sketch, posted RIGHT after i lost it, twice within 2 days, saying "i just need cash fast". but the person stopped responding to emails anyway so ...

@kirsten - thanks for the ideas i really appreciate it but i think the first thing that person would've done would be restore my ipod to factory settings thus deleting evvverything i have. whoop whoop

HI GUYS.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for helping me out. My iPod HAS BEEN RETURNED thanks to a MI user. Take-home lessons: Post about your lost stuff everywhere; or don't lose your stuff to begin with; and MI is filled with some wonderful people.

CLOSURE!
