There is an exciting event happening THIS THURSDAY, April 1st at noon in the 1280 Lounge. Yasir Naqvi, MPP for Ottawa-Centre and two-time Mac grad will be joining us for lunch with FREE finger foods and great discussion.
Yasir was first elected in October 2007 and is currently a parliamentary assistant to the Ministry of Revenue. Yasir graduated with a degree in Political Science and Life Science from McMaster before pursuing law. Again, this is a great opportunity to speak to a former Mac grad on how he eventually got into Politics, and Yasir is an amazing guy who is looking forward to meeting some great Mac students.
Yasir was even a McMaster Young Liberal President in his day! Which speaking of, the McMaster Young Liberals will be selling memberships and will answer questions from anyone interested interested in the club. Come out to this event for a great chance to talk to some of the current and future exec and find out how to get involved!
