Mac ID and osap
i was just wondering if university emails you or something to let you know that they have received your student form and signed osap papers??

No they don't. OSAP will e-mail you to notify you of a status change though. If you want to know if McMaster got your OSAP document, call SFAS. sfas.mcmaster.ca

I think at the very least your PA changes to match your estimate.

Also under "Things to Do" in your OSAP application, there shouldn't be the signature pages reminder.

how long does it take for them to change the status..because i still have signatures pages do under my things to do list...
i send my papers on wednesday

give it a week it usually takes a while

Yeah, they wouldn't even receive it yet. Mail usually takes 2-3 business days (maybe even longer, I don't know if there is a backlog at Canada Post right now... maybe not though).

There's no rush with sending the signature pages. If you sent it this week, it should get to them by the end of the month.

Sometimes it will take a couple to a few weeks for it to update

as u said there is no rush for it. as long as u get it in before school starts. sig pages just means it wont be released

is it possible to just drop off the signature papers at gilmour hall instead of mailing them?

Yes, there's a drop box outside the SFAS office so you don't have to wait in line.
