My ID card has a horrible picture of me, I want to get it re-taken, how should I go about this? I know I'll have to pay for another one which isn't a problem but can someone tell me the steps? Do I have to bring a picture with me or does the office take one?

you will have to pay for the new card. whatever the fee is. they can take your picture for free when they make it.
source: was told that by the people themselves

they won't retake your picture since they have it digitally on file. they just print a new sticker and put it on. your best bet is telling them you had sexual reassignment surgery so they have to replace it so that your card has a pic of the new you on it.

They don't HAVE to take your picture, but they usually do if you ask.

When I lost my student card I had to pay $30 for a new one...they took a new pic of me and they gave me the card right away.
