Yep, you need 2 photos I believe. One for residence and one to get your keys. It doesn't have to be the same picture . Just a picture to identify that the person on the papers with that name is you

Nope you need two so that they have a way to identify you if you lose your keys and need a replacement but don't have your student card with you.

Not that I'm questioning you, but why do all the move in guides etc. say bring one passport sized photo to receive your keys?
That's why I'm confused.
Like I already sent one photo and got my mac student card...and I knew we needed one other photo to get our keys..but now we need another one (a third photo)? I'm sorry if I'm being thick, I just want to clarify.

I am pretty sure for move in, you only need a government issued id, which can be your mac id card, and ONE passport sized photo.

If you forget to bring one, the Shoppers Drug Mart in University Plaza takes passport photos for $9.99.

When you sign into res you need to give them that and show them gov't ID.
Just read the housing.mcmaster.ca website

So we need one photo to get our keys and one photo to sign in for residence (TWO photos in total) ?
Or ONE photo to sign in for residence AND get our keys?
Sorry I'm still not understanding...
Because as far as I understood from the housing website I only need one photo total..

No that's not what I meant. What I was saying is that you need 1 photo for your Mac ID and 1 for Residence. So 2 in total but you already gave 1 in so you only need to bring 1 with you when you go to pick up your keys.
