Passport Photo
Does anyone know where I could go to have a passport photo taken? I'm renewing my passport and I'm not sure where to go to get my picture taken.

The Shoppers Drug Mart in University Plaza does it cheap. There's also some sketchy place in Jackson Square but I've never been in. I did mine at Shoppers, it cost me 10 bucks or something like that. It was really reasonable.

Blacks in University Plaza (or Limeridge) will do it too, for about double the price. You get a passport wallet and some coupons...but that probably doesn't justify the $10 difference.

There's a non-sketchy place in Jackson square called "Mr. Print all Copy"

For real, go there.

I renewed my passport and got photos done at CAA, went to drop off my app [at the office in the Standard Life Building which is attached to Jackson Square] and they rejected them because they were wrong.

This Mr Print All [when I went about 3 weeks ago] hadn't had a single photo returned in about 8 weeks.

seriously, don't go to Walmart etc. They don't know all the requirements of what makes a BAD photo. I had to have my photos done at Walmart 3 times when I first got my passport. such a waste!

Also, drop your app right off at the office if you can make it! I got mine in exactly 1 week -- much faster than mailing it off!

I already went to shoppers. They did a fine job and I handed in all my forms and photos today. I should have my renewed passport in 5-10 business days!
