That is so true that a lot of people read but don't comment. I think I have red almost every post in the past 4 weeks, but I just didn't feel like posting in most of them.

Those new stats are fantastic, though...who knew every post you posted is not only being read by the thread-goers, but also by other unforseen first years and prospectives?

So... is this what happens when you should be studying for exams? Most of us just play video games.

The search even allows you to narrow by Gender, faculty etc. and you can even sort the list by post-count to weed out non-active users form your data.

Thanks. I did make use of the tool to fill in the blanks on the spreadsheet, but I didn't think to refine my searches other than by username. Probably for the best though, entering that much data manually would have been a huge pain and the point of this was just to visualize data from my (admittedly arbitrary) definition of a "regular user". I don't consider users who sign up once, ask a question, then never come back, or ask a question, forget their password, then sign up again to be active members of the community.

In response to this and other comments of the like: I've had the idea in my head for a while, and even spent about a week on my list of all the active members, but I held off 'til I was done. My last exam was on the 16th.

Also I just moved, but my PS3 and TV aren't set up yet. :(

This is interesting, but like other posters have said, the information might not all be accurate. For example, I wasn't included in the data, but if I was - my program and year on my profile are inaccurate.

Thanks for including me, Entropy! What with my lack of contact with MacInsiders users outside of the forums and being a 3-second Chat user, I've accidentally made myself confusing and an Unknown.
