Those of you who don't know anyone... you must come!!! This is the chance to meet a load of new people and don't worry, there will be ice breakers and we'll be rotating around the table throughout the night so you'll get to chat with new people and meet new friends! Last year we had dozens of people who came without knowing anyone and ended up having a fantastic time.
Plus.. if you are a first-year and have any questions, we have MacInsiders staff there that can help answer them and give advice and tips on getting involved on campus. We'll tell you our stories about how we got involved with groups and MSU services, etc. and give you tips on which services and groups to join that match your interests!

oh man this sounds soo cool, I am so going to be here
and I don't have class till 12:30 the next day so I'll be staying probably the whole night
and did I hear karaoke is going down? A singer's dream come true, so I'm definitely going to stay and sing at the Karaoke so make sure to cheer me on lol 
Only question I have though is, I'm a first year and I would really like to go with the group meet, but I have no clue where the fireplace room is in the student center, so if anyone could please help me out with that, that would greatly help me lol  |

If you go in through the main doors of the Student Centre, make a right then walk straight, you'll eventually pass Compass, an information desk on your right. Keep going a little further, and you'll be in this big, generally empty space, with windows and couches behind some pillars. There's a fireplace in one of those pillars, you can't miss it.
If nothing else, just look for awkwardly standing, lost-looking people. That'll probably be us. =p

Student Centre (MUSC) is located here...
Go through the front doors from the parking lot and turn left... or if you're coming in from the side entrance from the center of campus turn right and go down the hall.
LOOK FOR OUR MACINSIDERS BOOTH AT CLUBSFEST (which will be in or just outside the student centre) ON SEPT 8TH and we can show you where to meet for the travel group!!
