I REALLYY don't feel like carrying that heavy textbook around everywhere, lol.
If your text is Calculus - Early Transcendentals by Stewart, then I'll have it on me.

But you'll have to direct me to some problems or a section of the text, because otherwise I don't really know what to teach, haha.

Jesus, it was awful! I studied like a mother****er, and it was the hardest ****ing thing EVER. Worse than accountingz.

But, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Apparently EVERYONE thought it was horrible.

So I feel less stupid. Which is always good.

Seriously? ):!

What was difficult about it? Were there tricky questions? Ugly functions?

I remember when I took 1A03 (like 600 years ago, when reeves and I were kids lol) I had a terribad curve sketching question on there, f(x) = x^(1/2)^3 - e^(x^1/2))...I was also an idiot and forgot my calculator lol...so don't feel too bad!

I'm not sure its a simple as that.

Anyone looking at his legacy can see that most of the actions he took during his terms were not libertarian. However, he exemplified libertarianism more than any president in recent history- he was well versed in the writings of economists like Von Mises and Hayek, he ended a recession using partially libertarian policies, spoke out against the use of government to protect people from themselves, showed that it was possible to stand up against unions at a time when that wasn't done, and (lets finish with a large hyperbole) defeated the commies and spread free market based capitalism around the world. (Obviously its not true free market capitalism, the Soviet Union would have collapsed anyway, etc etc)

Its clear to see that his actions were often very non-libertarian. He spent large amounts of money and ran a deficit, regulated interest rates, barely eliminated any wasteful government programs, started the War on Drugs, etc etc But when no other modern president has come close, standards get lowered and people start to look over those things.

When I wrote that line in my profile it was as a joke. But there is a reason that Reagan gets associated with libertarianism. This interview (from before he was president) is actually a pretty interesting read about his beliefs and how they ended up differing from what happened while he was in power.

Seems like a dream,
The day I sucked the air
From a bottle of whipped cream
And I got real high
And things got real slow
And I started talking like this

What's going on
I don't know
And then I sold my car
For a Grateful Dead ticket
And my dad yelled at me
And he grounded me
And he said I was a dick
It was the worst day of my life
And I'll never forget
But the very next day I was doing bong hits
In the back of my friend's chevette

So don't tell me
We're winning the war on drugs
'cuz drugs are like a big ol' can of raid
And you're all little bugs
And don't tell me
To not get high
'cuz I'm as low as I can get
Without kissing your ass
And blowing you at the same time

Man, don't tell me about love and peace
When one of the Joneses
Has a handgun pointed at me
Don't tell me to "Just Say No"
I'm an addict
I say no to letting it go
What ever happened to Sex, Drugs, and Rock'n'Roll?
Now we've just got AIDS, crack, and techno

So they busted me for selling dope
And I went to jail
And I wasn't forgiven
Like that little ****er who shot the pope
And they said I had the right to remain silent
But they couldn't explain
How I didn't resist
And I wasn't violent
Because all I've ever wanted
Is the right to remain
And they questioned me
And they asked me... Why?

I don't think I should be shot
For selling pot
Its just my little way of saying "Hi"

And now my record's all ****ed up
And I'm not allowed to vote
And two times a week they make me piss in a cup
When what I want to do is piss down their throats

Man, don't tell me about love and peace
When one of the Joneses
Has a handgun pointed at me
Don't tell me to "Just Say No"
I'm an addict
I say no to letting it go
What ever happened to Sex, Drugs, and Rock'n'Roll?
Now we've just got AIDS, crack, and techno

And they told me that times have changed
'Cuz our parents had Hendrix, Janis, and Jim
But what about River Phoenix and Kurt Cobain?
And they told me to praise the lord
But I've been waiting for so long
For him to call me back
I think I'm gonna go pray at Betty Ford
And they told me that life is fair
But I can't smoke a plant that was made by God
But I can kill my wife if I'm a football player

But I'd rather smoke crack out of Nancy Ragen's skull
While getting a blow job from Tiffer Goarn

Man, don't tell me about love and peace
When one of the Joneses
Has a handgun pointed at me
Don't tell me to "Just Say No"
I'm an addict
I say no to letting it go
What ever happened to Sex, Drugs, and Rock'n'Roll?
Now we've just got AIDS, crack, and techno

Because of that, Reaganism (out of all the presidential "philosophies" - or cults of personality, whatever) has been likened as 'libertarian'. However, as you rightly pointed out, he was merely the closest thing America's ever had to a socially conservative libertarian. If we're talking in terms of both social and economic libertarianism, then Reagan was far from libertarian - perhaps the image only stems from comparing him with Thatcher in that matter...
